This is a site I stumbled across, sounds interesting though, but I wonder how long I would maintain posting a photo a day?

Anyhow, I would still like to try it out Far more often I’ve run out of ideas from my blog and with this I hope I can post something everyday and after awhile, I can recap my life and laugh about it.

I just hope I don’t end up posting “today is a boring day in office / today is damn fucking jam” kind of thing ….lol! Also I can fully utilize my web server hosting ^^

Recap 2008 :

Passed my Japanese class into Intermediate Level 2 in 2008.
Thanks Yumi-chan for teaching and thanks anime /drama for further improving my Japanese Language level. However didn’t took JLPT last year due to my balls shrink last minute. Will take Level 3 or 4 this year end.

Went to AFA08 in Singapore and saw May’n live concert.
Coz May’n said:”私の歌を聴け”　No choice lo, fairies of the galaxy say so, den must go listen her sing

But truly, May’n live concert was one of the best god damn live performance I ever seen so far not to mention, being few meters away from her is truly an exeperience that I wont forget ( and thanks to this blog, I got my media pass and able to sit in the VIP area for free..ngek ngek ngek!!!)

Oh, did I mentioned I got my question answered by her before her live? ngek ngek ngek again~~

Going to get her May’n Street album when it’s release this month.

Back in the blogging wagon
created this blog after watching Kamen Rider Den-O, and since then been blogging my own stuffs.

Using a WACOM for the first time.
Thanks Nat for getting me a WACOM bamboo during last years Singapore trip. So fun to play with but so hard to use. The only thing I really use for its to draw that stupid character that appears in my blog the whole time. (I did one drawing on a Kimono anime girl last time, but that was the onli time i SERIOUSLY drew..haha)

My grandma passed away.
No further elaboration, don’t feel like remembering sad stuffs.

Rebuild my own portfolio site
Created a portfolio site for my display of work. So ppl can easily go online and surf my work easily. Please, I’m looking for freelances and a new job if possible!!! Just to tell you guys again, this is just temporary up. I wanna build a user friendly and visual enhancing portfolio site in near future.

So this is as far I can remember for 2008, there are a few more things that happened but is work related and I seriously hate to talk about work related stuffs in my blog. So for 2009? I don’t usually make new year resolutions as it doesn’t really comes true in the end, but wat the hell, just take a look and comment la..

• Take JLPT this year
• Change job this year (or get higher pay)
• Earn more money this year
• Go travel this year, no Singapore again pls (went there twice last year)
• Get a laptop this year, notice how hard is live without one esp when you are going for presentation
• Clean up my room that is fill with Otaku stench .
• Rebuild Xuancreative
• create a mascot for this blog (lol , that white guy dosen’t count)
• lose weight, and back to gym!
• Get a girl
• Get a guy
• Meet May’n in real live *キャ～キャ～キャ～キャ～キャ～キャ～キャ～キャ～キャ～キャ～＊

At first was thinking of a SLR, but after considering it’s bulky size and weight, also the future investment to get in new lens and stuffs, I certainly don’t want to spend so much money on it. I’m a poor designer after all. And considering the fact I am a lazy person, brining such a bulk shit would only mean I wouldn’t be using it often. Thus, would like to find a compact digicam which has some features of a DSLR.

Read a review at Danny Choo’s about a high spec compact digicam by Panasonic and decided to give it a try.

I’ve taken a few random shots just to test how far this camera can go, gotta say, although the shots are taken without any effort, the results sure are stunning. Mind you I just got it yesterday and I haven’t really studied it in details yet..

Now, I got a SLR which is compact and I can bring it anywhere I go and for the whole December, I’m going for RM2 chicken rice for lunch =_=”

I dedicate this blog entry to my beloved grandmother whom just found peace in heaven.

It’s a Saturday and the day of my Japanese Intermediate level 1 exams. During the oral test, I received a call from my sister, all of a sudden, I don’t even know how to respond anymore…

My grandmother has just passed away.

Never the less, I continued the exams with a really heavy heart and after the exams i rushed back home and travel to penang with my family to pay her our last respect. Seeing her corpse in the coffin makes me sad and how much I really wanted to tell her how sorry I am for not being able to spend more time with her.

My ah ma, like many mainlanders in the olden days travels to south east asia side to find a better living. After married my ah gong ( who sold salty duck egg 15 years ago) they settled down in Penang. During the older days , they were selling chow kuey teow as a living and from what I heard from my cousins, no matter how good the chow kuey teow that are selling here now, no one still can beats the uniqueness of ah gong chow kuey teow, well once again I’m too young to remember.

I remembered how sad ah ma was when my ah gong sold the salty eggs and I’m somehow relief for now that both em can finally meet in after separated for 15 years.

Anyway, two months ago ah ma feel from the stairs and broke her bone. she was admitted to hospital and on the day she was supposed to leave, something happened to her internal organs and was once again admitted. This time the doctor said that her internal organs were all spoiled and beyond cured. Nevertheless, ah ma suffer a grieve pain for her remaining two months.

I wasn’t there for her…

When ah ma was living with us in KL, I have a feeling she was bored as there’s no one here who can really talked to her due to communication problems, my ah ma speaks hokkien and I speak very little hokkien. So couldn’t really talk to her. Ah ma’s favorite pass time was watching TV and she’s a big fan of Bollywood films. Each time she would ask me turned on “san hou dai” (TV3) for her and she would sit in the couch for hours to watch her favorite Bollywood films. It’s a simple lifestyle, but she’s happy to be with us as one family.

If given another chance, I would learn hokkien just to talk to my ah ma and to spend more time with her.

In the end, I wish ah ma to find eternal peace in after life where she be free from all sufferings.
