Anime Festival Asia 2008

Just came back from Singapore for the Anime Festival Asia 2008 (AFA 08). Gotta say it’s one of the biggest anime related event I’ve ever attended. And no doubt, the main reason for me to travel all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore - May’n Live concert, didn’t disappointed me a bit at all and to listen to the Songtress of the Galaxy live on stage its truly a great experience, my mind was truly blown away by it and my heart now still stays at the stage, and that time.
Before May’n enters the stage.. doki doki doki doki
For the event I specially borrowed an SLR camera, after all wouldn’t want this event to be a disappointing experience with shitty and grainy pictures from camera phone. ( although some did turned out like that) and also specially applied for the Media Pass where I can attend the event for free and I can act like I am sort of journalist, whats best is I can go into the VIP section for May’n live concert without purchasing any VIP tickets. Too bad, should have attended the Friday’s press conference where that time I can interview May’n and ask her more questions besides what instruments she plays.残念ね。。。 If I knew earlier I could’ve ditch work and class just to able to talk to her.. 
May’n sang seven songs during the live performance and I can rest assure all songs are LIVE performed and there’s no lip-sync involved. The seven songs are

3. Infinity
4. Yousei
5. Shinkuu no Diamond Crevasse
6. Northern Cross
7. Iteza Gogo Kuji Don’t be late
I love the part where the crowds were shouting “moetake” and “tondeke” during the last song and according to May’n ’s blog entries, she did mentioned it gives her power and exited with it. My personal favorite goes to Northern Cross live and still wondering how can she sings so fast, and still able to maintain her composure? Truly, the next Ayumi Hamasaki.
BTW if you all wonder who the hell am I, I am the green shirt guy who shouted Ｍay’n 最高だ！！！ ^^
One down thing is surely the “strictly no photography” rules during May’n live performance. Although now I can see many leakage photo/ video on the net and I, personally had taken a few snapshots ( that was AFTER the live performance ok? ), and secretly sound recorded the live performance with my camera phone, here I have to respect May’n (or is it the organizers?) decision by not uploading any on this blog. After all, I still want my media pass for next event~!
